23 Gearbox Shaft Bush.
Made from highly durable Delrin we have re-manufactured the original rubber insert bush to a more solid Delrin type. The originals had lots of play in them and caused an unnecessary slop in the gearchange. After many years the original bushes break and almost all the support they gave disappears.
Our new bush makes this joint accurate by making the bush a friction fit over the shaft and into the mecahnism.
Once you have insterted the bush into the mechanism you will need to run a drill bit through the existing hole so you can bolt the mechanism back onto the shaft. We do it this way because of the tight fit, if you get it slightly miss-aligned then removing the bush without damaging it will be very difficult.
